Shire's plan gets thumbs up
Climate change action group Beyond Zero Emissions has praised the Shire of Yarra Ranges for its plan to become carbon neutral by next year. Beyond Zero Emissions spokesman Matt Wright said a Yarra Ranges plan to spend $790,000 on the scheme showed that local governments were at the forefront of action on climate change.
