Media team: Media team coordinator

Summary:
The QLD branch of BZE is looking for a coordinator for the media team. The coordinator will liaise with the QLD general manager and manage volunteers to perform the following tasks:

1.    Use local knowledge and knowledge of BZE’s position on climate change and energy issues to scope out opportunities for media in QLD, and keep a calendar of upcoming events as well as notify the Melbourne office of reactive media opportunities if possible.
2.    Based on the scoping done above, pitch ideas for written pieces and other media to the Communications Director.
3.    Draft media pieces for publication (templates and archives available.

Estimated time commitment:
Flexible, at least 1 day per week

Reports to:
BZE Communications Director (Melbourne). Works in collaboration with QLD General Manager
